The Best of Both Worlds

Our three riverside self catering cottages are situated on the beautiful banks of the river Nith surrounded by idyllic countryside. They have been converted from a traditional barn and stables to lovely holiday cottages. Located adjacent to Blackaddie Hotel, our cottages offer you easy access to our cosy bar, our gourmet restaurant and our beautiful gardens with the flexibility to self cater when you prefer.

An ideal base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway, you will find both the Southern Upland Way and the South West Coastal pass by the end of the drive. There is a wealth of outdoor activities on your doorstep with walking, bird watching, salmon and trout fishing, canoeing on the river Nith and golfing at the local course or at the world famous Troon or Turnberry. You can even try your hand at gold panning at the Leadhills Mining Museum which is nearby!

For those days when the weather is less kind there are a multitude of historic and cultural sites to visit including Drumlanrig Castle and Dumfries House. For more information on things to see and do in the area visit our Explore Page.
