what one would normally expect. Ian, owner and chef, has held a
Michelin Star for many years in his previous restaurants so you
can imagine that the food here at Blackaddie Country House Hotel
is going to be some of the best to be found in Scotland. Even in
the short time that Ian & Jane have had the hotel they have
already been awarded Dinner Quality Award at the Scottish Hotel Awards, Ian also received a Gold Medal Award for Excellence at the same awards, other award include 5 Stars Exceptional from Food Review Scotland, Gold Plate Status
from Hotel Review Scotland a a Silver
Award from Eat Scotland - they are now the highest

Our menu changes daily
and we use only fresh products with all dishes being made in our
own kitchens. We feature wherever possible locally sourced Scottish
ingredients and only the very best will do.


It's not just about fine
dining either, we also have our bar supper menu which is available
every day, this menu offers more traditional and lighter food designed
for more everyday eating along with a children's menu for our younger
customers, but still using only the best ingredients available to

Our extensive list of wines are carefully selected not only for their quality but also for their compatibility with our menu.
Bar lunches and Bar Suppers are also
available each day and for those with exploration in mind packed
lunches can be organised on request.
Private dining is also a feature of
dining at Blackaddie as we have various combinations of rooms available
for private parties, be it a quiet table for four in a private room
