Ian, owner and chef, has held a Michelin Star for many years in his previous restaurants so you can imagine that the food here at Blackaddie Country House Hotel is going to be some of the best to be found in Scotland. Even in the short time that Ian & Jane have had the hotel they have already been awarded Dinner Quality Award at the Scottish Hotel Awards, Ian also received a Gold Medal Award for Excellence at the same awards, other award include 5 Stars Exceptional from Food Review Scotland, Gold Plate Status from Hotel Review Scotland a a Silver Award from Eat Scotland - they are now the highest Visit Scotland rated hotel restaurant in the Southwest of Scotland. Our extensive list of wines are carefully selected not only for their quality but also for their compatibility with our menu. Bar lunches and Bar Suppers are also available each day and for those with exploration in mind packed lunches can be organised on request.
